After your routine cleaning, your dental assistant begins by applying the whitening gel to your teeth. You then can relax for 15 minutes while the Zoom light shines on your teeth, breaking down the hydrogen peroxide and releasing the oxygen into your tooth enamel. The oxygen dissolves the stains without harming the structure of your teeth.

We repeat this process two more times during your visit, for a total of 45 minutes—and then we follow this with a fluoride gel that reduces sensitivity. You’ll go home with a set of whitening trays and gel to use periodically, to maintain your new, brighter smile.
